At Black Sheep Trading Ltd, your satisfaction is our top priority. We’re committed to providing the best possible shopping experience and will do everything we can to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
Your Rights as a Customer
We fully comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986:

The Consumer Guarantees Act ensures that all products sold in New Zealand meet acceptable quality standards. If your purchase is faulty or doesn’t meet expectations, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

The Fair Trading Act protects you from misleading or deceptive advertising or sales practices — including product origin, pricing, safety standards, and availability. The Commerce Commission enforces this legislation.
Damaged Goods on Delivery
We use DAILY FREIGHT AND BASCIK for shipping and take great care when packing. However, if your item arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

Sign for the item as “DAMAGED” and include your signature.

Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product.

Email photos to: [OFFICE@blacksheeptrading.co.nz] on the same day the item is received.
Please keep the item in its original packaging and wait for further instructions from our team. If STRAIT NZ is not notified correctly, your claim may be denied.
Returns & Refunds
If we’ve made a mistake (e.g. wrong or faulty item), we’ll cover the cost of return and sort it fast:

Email us with your order details and photos (if applicable).

Once approved, return the item in original packaging.

Include your bank account number and name for direct refund processing.
We’ll notify you by email once your refund is approved and processed.
Change of Mind?
If you’ve changed your mind, get in touch — we may offer an exchange or store credit. Refunds are not guaranteed in this situation and return shipping is at your cost.
Warranty Information
All products sold by Black Sheep Trading Ltd are covered by NON TRANSFERABLE limited manufacturer warranties. These warranties apply to manufacturing defects only and do not cover misuse, crash damage, or normal wear and tear.
Warranty Coverage:

Frames & front forks – 1 year

Motors – 1 year

Batteries – 1 year
Important: Please contact us before sending any product back under warranty. Many issues can be resolved without return shipping, which we cannot cover unless the product is faulty.
To make a warranty claim:

Provide proof of purchase.

Ensure the item is clean and safely packaged.

Once inspected and approved by our Warranty Department, a replacement or repair will be arranged.

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we’ll let you know your options.
