Shipping & Returns
Black Sheep Trading Ltd uses NZ Post and Daily Freight to ensure the fastest possible delivery of your goods. We will ship E scooters, Electric Bikes, and All related accessories to you as soon as possible. Generally, 1 -3 days delivery nationwide. South Island deliveries are overnight and North island can take a little longer.

Scooters come boxed and assembled, Bikes are sent boxed and part-assembled. Bikes require some minor assembly which includes fitting the front wheel, handlebars, rear rack, and basket. Scooters and Bikes come with a small tool kit. Bikes also come with a free pump.
Scooters and Bikes need a full charge before the maiden voyage.
In the rare event that you may receive damaged stock from STRAIT NZ please sign for it with DAMAGED and underneath sign your name.
Take photos of the damaged box and product. Email these photos to our customer service team (firstname.lastname@example.org) the same day you receive the damaged product (STRAIT NZ may not accept a claim if you do not sign as damaged).
Please put the product aside and wait for further instructions on what to do with the product. We will assist you as soon as possible.
We will process a return if an error has occurred through Black Sheep Trading Ltd – for example, if a faulty or incorrect product is received. We’ll notify you via email of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the form of bank transfer, so please supply your bank account number and name with the return. Returns must be supplied with original packaging and at the cost of the recipient.
If you have a change of mind about the product ordered, you are welcome to exchange this for a different item of contact our team to enquire about a return. A refund may not be issued in this circumstance.
We offer Electric products from trusted, world-leading manufacturers, so you can rest assured all products offered by Black Sheep have been tested and certified.
All goods purchased from Black Sheep Trading Ltd are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects. They do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, or general wear and tear.

If you feel that any item purchased from Black Sheep Trading Ltd has developed a fault, please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring freight costs (unfortunately these can not be covered by Black Sheep Trading Ltd).
If your products need to be returned, you must provide proof of purchase, and we ask that returned products are clean. Returned products will be assessed by our Warranty Department, and replacement products will be dispatched once approved. We will contact you in cases that are not deemed to be valid for warranty.

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
