Our eBikes and are fully motorised to offer multiple riding options. You can choose full motor power (where no peddling is required), assisted riding (which combines motor and pedal power), or you can ride your eBike using only pedal power as you would a traditional bicycle. Our electric scooters have different power modes so you can choose your desired power for your commute. You can expect to ride around 35km on a fully charged battery when you choose full motor power. Combining your own pedal power throughout your journey will help to get you further (around 60km) with assisted riding. You can choose full pedal power on days you want to ride your eBike as you would a traditional bicycle, or after your battery has been spent on particularly long journeys. You can shop for your electric bike right here on our website via our online store, or, if you prefer, you can email or call us with a product enquiry and to arrange your purchase. We accept payment by credit card via eWay, our secure online shopping portal. Black Sheep Trading also have LAYBUY available on all of our products, 6 weeks interest free payments on everything, you can select this payment option at the checkout. We also have Finance available via Finance Now, this is currently only available to Christchurch residence as ID needs to be personally verified. Once your application has been approved we will process your order and you'll be enjoying your new purchase in no time!

Black Sheep eBikes are custom designed to meet New Zealand regulations of 300w. They are fully useable and legal on New Zealand roads, and meet NZTA regulations. Some of our products are over the legal limit and we sell them as off road use.

Riding an Electric Bike, is just as safe as riding a traditional bike. Like any other bike, it is mandatory to wear a bicycle helmet when riding an eBike under the New Zealand Land Transport (Road User) Rules. Parental supervision is recommended at your discretion, as is the use of protective gear for younger and novice riders.

We offer Electric Bikes and scooters from trusted, world-leading manufacturers, so you can rest assured all eBikes offered by Black Sheep have been tested and certified. Your Product is delivered in a box partly assembled. There is some minor assembly required before use.
